My church has to date restored 6 homes and cleaned up dozens in the last 5 years. Mind you, this church has less than 300 people. Has also given thousands of dollars to people in desperate need and just gave over 500 backpacks and a full years worth of school supplies to the same number of kids.

You say we dont offer HOPE? HOPE, is Not just giving someone a handout, but teaching them how to get a HAND-UP! To stand up on their own and make a difference for themselves and for their families. Its telling a teenage girl the huge life altering decision to forcibly remove a growing human in her body. Its giving a drug addict a place to rest his head and give him love without question, not another needle to stick in his arm.

Moreover, its giving people like YOU and ME the option to reach out and support the people who NEED it, NOT who the government says needs it.

This same concept was floated in the Netherlands in a place called needle park. Where now strung out junkies get all the drugs they need from the government. But still dont know how to have any life for themselves.

Last, us EXTREMISTS wouldnt have wanted BUSH to do this kind of thing. HE failed most of us with how he spent his last 2 years and, honestly, wasnt all that thrilled with the rise of a totalitarian state. The difference between Obama and Bush is that Bush didnt put all of his chips into establishing what Obama has gone "all in" on. Soon, the decisions that you made/make for yourself or your kids will be lessened and the state will decide whats best for you and for me.

This has been proven time and time again and is happening to this day: Any society that forgets its past, destroys its future.
